I'm Australian and have been teaching for a long time, firstly in Victoria, Australia, and then in the Asia-Pacific, mainly in Indonesia. Originally a Science and Mathematics teacher, I have taught most subjects (except Art), and have been using inquiry-style methods in secondary school classes in recent times. I have a Masters of Education, specialising in curriculum planning and professional development.
I have been a principal in two IB World schools and have led the authorisation and evaluation of the MYP and the authorisation of the DP, as well as leading accreditations for other education programs in a number of schools I have been involved in teacher training for more than 20 years, and have recently gone into educational consultancy with my wife, Helen Morschel, who is a PYP WSL and School visitor.
